Saw several poor puppies in Guilin being manhandled and sold on the streets like fucking souvenirs for 100 yuan (S$20). I have no words. The poor dog was so scared, it was closing its eyes and shivering with fear as the assholes parade them around, desperately trying to sell them away. They were tired and sleepy but at the sight of buyers showing a little interest, they are grabbed by their necks and forced to stay awake to humor them. How I wish I was able to save them from all of these, but even if I save one, there will still be thousands more because these people will never stop. I get that this is their livelihood and it is how they earn money to support their families but at least treat the dogs a little better. Fucking idiots.

I'm here to crash your party!

Hi guys! I finally got off the couch and created a new blogger account to continue blogging. Been doing that since Secondary School but stopped when I discovered Tumblr (which is good if you like to reblog pictures, videos and gifs) but not too good creatively to write stuff cause whatever you write will just get pushed down by all the reblogs of whoever's your idol-of-the-moment. Don't get me wrong, I reblog plenty of idol posts too... maybe a little too much! Somehow, I lost touch with my writing flair and since then I've been a little tongue-tied when it comes to writing long articles which I seem to excel in last time I checked. Maybe it was because all I wrote before was either ranting about stuff or raving about them but then again, isn't that what writing is all about? It's penning down an opinion that you believe in. These days, I'm ashamed to say that I can't even get enough words to write a one-page essay about why I want to go to the Busan Film Festival! (Thank god for double-spacing)

Another thing that's been weighing my mind is now that I finally download Firefox to view my grades on web advisor, I was disheartened to learn that I barely managed to achieve a 3.0 GPA for my first year in Chapman. Now, I know people who would say "why do you care about grades so much?" and "fuck the grades", but the grades are a reflection on how well I think I have been doing in school. Evidently, not very. And even though I know that in the media industry, grades means second to nothing, I still feel a little despondent. Anyway, to cut to the chase, I've decided that I am to buck up and give it all I got for my second and final year. It's gonna be tough but bring it on!

Wish me luck? :)
